Monday, Oct. 7: Chasing the Autumn Colours
Chasing the Autumn Colours:
A walk through the changing colours of the larch trees of the Kimberley Nature Park
Hike report from Dave Hale
Fifteen hikers (plus dogs) joined leader Lauren on a hike through the Nordic Trails and into the Nature Park. We walked around Dipper Lake and enjoyed a snack at Bear Lookout. All along the way we got to enjoy fall colours and brilliant sunshine! On the way back we detoured down Creek Trail and up Flume Trail for a look at a different habitat.
This is such a great 2-3 hour route for a fall hike. Thanks to leader Lauren.
