2019 guided event schedule

We have just released our 2019 schedule of guided events in the Kimberley Nature Park, and there is something for everyone. If you would like to learn about the geology of the Park, improve your photography skills, turn your kids on to nature, share your love of poetry in a natural setting, or just get some exercise, please check out our lineup of free guided events.

The annual Golden Larch Hike to Dipper Lake is one of our most popular outings.

From the Mother’s Day Walk on May 12 to the Golden Larch Hike on October 20, KNPS volunteers will be leading 18 guided events throughout the spring, summer and fall. An introduction to biking in the Park, a walk through the lush cedar groves of Horse Barn Valley, and several nature-focused walks from the Riverside Campground entrance are included again this year.

Bring the kids on our Hike for Young Families to Eimer's Lake.

There is no need to pre-register, and all events are free. So put on your hiking shoes, grab your camera, and get outside to enjoy the largest municipal park in British Columbia.
